The London Action Resource Centre (LARC) is a meeting centre and planning area for several protest groups, including Queeruption and Indymedia in London. It also functions as a planning and information centre for Peoples Global Action. It was originally known as the Fieldgate Action Resource Centre. In 1999 the building became the property of the 'London Action Resource Centre Limited'. The building is situated in Whitechapel, in the East End of London. Famous quotes containing the words london, action, resource and/or centre:

It doesn’t matter who you vote for, the government always gets in.
    —Graffiti. London (1970s)

The philosophy of action for action, power for the sake of power, had become an established orthodoxy. “Thou has conquered, O go-getting Babbitt.”
    Aldous Huxley (1894–1963)

Helping children at a level of genuine intellectual inquiry takes imagination on the part of the adult. Even more, it takes the courage to become a resource in unfamiliar areas of knowledge and in ones for which one has no taste. But parents, no less than teachers, must respect a child’s mind and not exploit it for their own vanity or ambition, or to soothe their own anxiety.
    Dorothy H. Cohen (20th century)

The bogholes might be Atlantic seepage.
    The wet centre is bottomless.
    Seamus Heaney (b. 1939)
