Littlest Pet Shop

Littlest Pet Shop is a toy franchise owned by Hasbro. The original toy series was produced by Kenner in the early 1990s. An animated television series was made in 1994 by Sunbow Productions and 'Jean Chalopin Creativite et Developpement', based on the franchise. However, a new version of Littlest Pet Shop was introduced in 2005. This new version has proportionally large heads and has no connection to the Littlest Pet Shop television show. There are currently over 3,000 different pets that have been created by the Hasbro company. Hasbro has produced Littlest Pet Shop video games for DS, Wii, and PlayStation 3 and it even has its own television show on The Hub in 2012. Hasbro also created pets to "adopt" and play with online. In 2010 the Blythe Loves Littlest Pet Shop line was released by Hasbro, with Blythe dolls as petsitters.

Famous quotes containing the words littlest, pet and/or shop:

Little fish swam by his nose
and he noted them and touched their slime.
Plankton came and he held them in his palm
    like God’s littlest light bulbs.
    Anne Sexton (1928–1974)

Tom was a glittering hero once more—the pet of the old, the envy of the young. His name even went into immortal print, for the village paper magnified him. There were some that believed he would be President, yet, if he escaped hanging.
Mark Twain [Samuel Langhorne Clemens] (1835–1910)

The post-office appeared a singularly domestic institution here. Ever and anon the stage stopped before some low shop or dwelling, and a wheelwright or shoemaker appeared in his shirt- sleeves and leather apron, with spectacles newly donned, holding up Uncle Sam’s bag, as if it were a slice of home-made cake, for the travelers, while he retailed some piece of gossip to the driver, really as indifferent to the presence of the former as if they were so much baggage.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
