Divine Wind
A planet colonized and mostly inhabited by Japanese people, with a large amount of tourists. It was one of humanity's first colonies and has a high influence in Starways Congress. Peter Wiggin and Wang-mu came here in Children of the Mind as part of their mission to "find the center of power among humankind" and to "persuade them to stop the fleet before it needlessly destroys a world ". Divine Wind is the English translation of the Japanese term Shimpū Tokkōtai, more commonly known as Kamikaze.

Famous quotes containing the words divine and/or wind:
“We devastate them unreligiously,
And coldly ask their pottage, not their love.
Therefore they shove us from them, yield to us
Only what to our griping toil is due;
But the sweet affluence of love and song,
The rich results of the divine consents
Of man and earth, of world beloved and lover;
The nectar and ambrosia, are withheld.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
“To avoid tripping on the chain of the past, you have to pick it up and wind it about you.”
—Mason Cooley (b. 1927)
