Ly the Fairy is a character in the Rayman series of videogames. A beautiful fairy made by the godlike Polokus, she helps Rayman in his adventures. Her main appearance is in Rayman 2: The Great Escape (as well as its remake Rayman 2: Revolution, and the Nintendo DS port titled Rayman DS). Also, she is, alongside Globox, one of Rayman's best friends; although it is never confirmed in-game, a certain official piece of art for Rayman 2 implies a romantic relationship between them.

Famous quotes containing the word fairy:
“There’s a quality of legend about freaks. Like a person in a fairy tale who stops you and demands that you answer a riddle. Most people go through life dreading they’ll have a traumatic experience. Freaks were born with their trauma. They’ve already passed their test in life. They’re aristocrats.”
—Diane Arbus (1923–1971)
