List of Bad Girls Characters - Malcolm Nicholson

Malcolm Nicholson

Dr Malcolm Nicholson is Larkhall's Senior Medical Officer in series two and three before being fired as a result of Helen Stewart's serious concerns about his ineptitude in not diagnosing the mental illness of Pam Jolly (aka. "Podger"). He is replaced by Dr Thomas Waugh.

In series five, Nicholson returns. In Series 7, He helps Jim Fenner get a vasectomy and When Sylvia Hollamby comes into a large inheritance, Nicholson is conveniently there to help. The two marry and go off on their honeymoon, safe in the knowledge they now have millions. A provision in Sylvia's Lesibian Aunt's will makes it so that the estate is not to be given to her but to serveral charities of choice if she re-marries. When Sylvia explains this to Malcolm, he becomes enraged and ties Sylvia down to a chair and prepares an injection of drugs to kill her and make it look natural. Just before Nicholson puts the needle in, the 'Costa Cons' Phyl Oswyn and Bev Tull appear on the balcony, having been staying in a suite next door belonging to a Russian gangster (who had moments earlier returned to the hotel), where they find a bag of diamonds and a gun. Oswyn shoots Nicholson, and frees Sylvia. Oswyn goes on the run, but after dropping the diamonds in the hotel lobby (a direct reaction to Sylvia screaming from the balcony) Bev Tull is captured by the Spanish Police and is returned to Larkhall. Sylvia returns the favour to Oswyn and Tull by providing them both with alcohol back in prison.

Following this, the position of Senior Medical Officer is taken over by Dr Rowan Dunlop.

Famous quotes containing the word malcolm:

Every journalist who is not too stupid or too full of himself to notice what is going on knows that what he does is morally indefensible. He is a kind of confidence man, preying on people’s vanity, ignorance, or loneliness, gaining their trust and betraying them without remorse.
    —Janet Malcolm (b. 1934)
