Bonder was involved in a high-profile child support lawsuit with her ex-husband of 28 days, billionaire Kirk Kerkorian. Kerkorian, forty-eight years older than Bonder, suspected that Bonder's ex-boyfriend, Steve Bing, was the father of her daughter.
