Access Ottawa is a one-week experiential learning program for high school students in grades 11 and 12. Started in 2006 by three President's Office Interns at Trinity Western University, Access Ottawa brings high school students from across the country to study faith, politics, and citizenship in the Canada's capital.
The program typically runs in April or May. Students spend the week living at the historic Laurentian Leadership Centre of Trinity Western University, formerly known as the Booth House, and touring Ottawa museums and attractions, meeting with government officials and non-governmental office dignitaries, and engaging in interactive workshops to discuss issues in Canadian politics.
