Biography
After graduating from Loyola Marymount University with honors, Boersma founded Steele Films in the summer of 2000 with her partner, director John Stewart Muller. Since then, Boersma has produced a wide variety of live action and animated commercials in addition to many other film productions, from features to documentaries. In addition to the feature film Fling, she helped to produce Prom Queen, the first internet video series funded by Michael Eisner’s new company, Vuguru. Boersma is also prolific screenwriter and an active member of Women in Film, The National Association for Female Executives and Film Independent of Los Angeles.
