Late Night Talk was a late-night radio talk show on 98FM in Dublin, Ireland. The programme first aired in 2003 with former RTÉ and TG4 presenter Tom O'Brannigan. It was in direct competition with FM104's Phone Show with host Adrian Kennedy. The main emphasis was news, current affairs and comedy, but sadly it never worked and the show lost thousands of listeners in the two years it aired ..
Famous quotes containing the words late, night and/or talk:
“Or seen the furrows shine but late upturned,
And where the fieldfare followed in the rear,
When all the fields around lay bound and hoar
Beneath a thick integument of snow.
So by God’s cheap economy made rich
To go upon my winter’s task again.”
—Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
“Such night in England ne’er had been, nor e’er again shall be.”
—Thomas Babington Macaulay (1800–1859)
“I will buy with you, sell with you, talk with you, walk with you, and so following; but I will not eat with you, drink with you, nor pray with you.”
—William Shakespeare (1564–1616)
