Education
There are four levels education system in this district like other parts of Bangladesh. These levels are: 1) Primary - 5 years 2) Secondary - 5 years 3) Higher Secondary - 2 years and 4) Tertiary or University Education - 5 years. Besides Bengali, the native language, English is compulsory at all levels of education. There are lot of primary and secondary schools, and higher secondary college are available in the every part of the district.
