Kumta
Kumta - Brief by Ajit Ashok Acharya a city and a taluka in the North Kanara district in the state of Karnataka, India. Kumta It is a coastal city and is about 142 km south of the city Margao and 58 km north of Bhatkal. The city lies on NH 17 running between Panvel and Edappally and its one of the major stations along the Konkan Railway line running between Mumbai and Mangalore.
