History
The construction of the ring road were divided on four phase. The first phase were from the Parliament Building to Lebuhraya Mahameru on 1960s. The second phase were from the Parliament Building to the Istana Negara on 1970s. The third phase were from the Istana Negara to Sungai Besi Airport on 1980-1995 and final phase were from Lebuhraya Mahameru to Sungai Besi Airport on 1980-2000.
