History
The club was founded in 1952 by a group of local people in Burrel under the name KS 31 Korriku Burrel. The club played in the lower leagues of Albania from its creation in 1952 until 1981, when the club first participated in the Kategoria superiore. However, the 1981-82 season saw 31 Korriku relegated back to the Kategoria e parë after finishing second from bottom of the table with just 20 points in total. They were back in the top division after just one season in the Kategoria e parë and were part of the Kategoria superiore 1983-84. They were relegated again for the second time in the space of just 2 years after finishing rock bottom of the table, again being relegated with just 20 points through the entire season.
