KMBC-TV is the ABC-affiliated television station serving Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City, Kansas. It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on UHF channel 29 (virtual channel 9.1 via PSIP) from a transmitter at the East 23rd Street/Topping Avenue intersection in the city's Blue Valley section. Owned by Hearst Television, KMBC-TV is sister to CW affiliate KCWE and the two outlets share studios on Winchester Avenue in the city's Swope Park Ridge-Winchester section along I-435.
