KLIA Expressway, Federal Route, is the main expressway in Klang Valley, Malaysia connects KLIA Interchange of the North-South Expressway Central Link to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). The KLIA expressway has become a main gateway route to Malaysia from worldwide since the airport was opened on 27 June 1998. The total length of the expressway is 11 km (6.8 mi) (5.5 km (3.3 miles) on the PLUS Expressway sections and 5.5 km (3.4 mi) on the JKR and KLIA sections). During Formula One Petronas Malaysian Grand Prix championship every year it become as a main route to Sepang F1 Circuit from Kuala Lumpur.
