Countries
The Kingdom of the Netherlands currently consists of four constituent countries that form part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands on a basis of equality. Note that there is a difference between the "Kingdom of the Netherlands" and the "Netherlands": the Kingdom of the Netherlands is the comprehensive sovereign state and the Netherlands is only one of its four countries. Three of the six Dutch Caribbean islands (Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten) each form one of the three remaining constituent countries, while the others (Bonaire, Sint Eustatius, Saba) are actually part of the country of the Netherlands and are collectively known as the Caribbean Netherlands.

The American feels so rich in his opportunities for free expression that he often no longer knows what it is he is free from. Neither does he know where he is not free; he does not recognize his native autocrats when he sees them.” “Other countries drink to get drunk, and this is accepted by everyone; in France, drunkenness is a consequence, never an intention. A drink is felt as the spinning out of a pleasure, not as the necessary cause of an effect which is sought: wine is not only a philtre, it is also the leisurely act of drinking.” “Writing fiction has become a priestly business in countries that have lost their faith.” Related Phrases
