Bramble is known for his easy-going, snowboarder persona but sometimes exhibits a rebellious streak which has landed him in trouble in the past. During his debut season on the World Cup in 1998-99, for instance, he was sent home from races in Europe after a confrontation with a team staff member. And in 2006, he was formally reprimanded by the International Paralympic Committee for unsportsmanlike behavior.
