Kenilworth

Kenilworth (pronounced /ˈkɛnɨlwərθ/) is a town and civil parish in Warwickshire, England, about 5.5 miles (9 km) southwest of Coventry, 4 miles (6 km) north of Warwick and 90 miles (140 km) northwest of London. The town is on Finham Brook, a tributary of the River Sowe, which joins the River Avon about 2 miles (3 km) east of the centre of the town. The 2001 Census recorded a parish population of 23,219.

Kenilworth is notable for the extensive ruins of Kenilworth Castle. Other local sights include the ruins of Kenilworth Abbey in Abbey Fields park, St Nicholas' Parish Church and Kenilworth Clock.
