Kaymak (Serbian Cyrillic: Кајмак or Vrhnja/Врхњe); also kaymak, kajmak, kaimak, keimach or qeymağ, also geymar, gaimar, is a Turkish creamy dairy product, similar to clotted cream, also popular in other Balkan countries like Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, and in the Middle East, Central Asia, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan and India. It is made from the milk of water buffalos or of cows.
