Karkala

Karkala (Tulu/Konkani/Kannada: ಕಾರ್ಕಳ ) is a town and the headquarters of Karkala taluk in the Udupi district of Karnataka, India. Located about 380 km from Bangalore, it lies near the Western Ghats.
