Kariya Munda (born 20 April 1936) is an Indian politician and the current Deputy Speaker of the 15th Lok Sabha. He is a former minister in the Government of India. He was a cabinet minister in the ministry headed by Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He is a senior leader of Bharatiya Janata Party.
Munda was born in the Ranchi District of Jharkhand state in India. He passed his M.A. examination from Ranchi University.
Munda was elected to the 6th Lok Sabha in 1977 from Khunti constituency in Bihar state (presently, in Jharkhand state). He was re-elected to the Lok Sabha in 1989, 1991, 1996, 1998, 1999 and 2009 from the same constituency of Khunti.
Kariya Munda was elected as the Deputy Speaker of Lok Sabha on 8 June 2009.
