Karina (born November 19, 1968 as Cynthia Karina Moreno Elías) is a pop-ballad singer-songwriter and actress from Venezuela.

Her first major appearance was singing one of the roles in Karol Wojtyla's (former Pope John Paul II) "El Taller del Orfebre", which was a Venezuelan made musical adaption of his play "The Jeweller's Shop", singing the song "Zapatos de tacón alto" (High-heeled shoes). On this version she was accompanied by other successful singers of the time, such as Guillermo Dávila, Melissa, Guillermo Carrasco, and more.
