Juvenile Liaison Officer - Law

Law

When an underage offender reaches the age of 18, their file is wiped clean of the offences and they are no longer 'marked' men. If you are a repeated offender (normally with 4 filed offences) you may have to appear in court on the basis of a criminal conviction. This stays on your record for life.

Famous quotes containing the word law:

    But the creative person is subject to a different, higher law than mere national law. Whoever has to create a work, whoever has to bring about a discovery or deed which will further the cause of all of humanity, no longer has his home in his native land but rather in his work.
    Stefan Zweig (18811942)

    Villain, thou know’st nor law of God nor man;
    No beast so fierce but knows some touch of pity.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

    For through the law I died to the law, so that I might live to God. I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
    Bible: New Testament, Galatians 2:19-20.
