Jumpstyle

Jumpstyle is a rave dance and electronic music genre that is mainly practiced in Europe, specifically Belgium, the Netherlands, Ireland, Germany, northern France, and the United Kingdom. It is also popular in a few parts in the United States. The dance is also called Jumpen (English word Jump + the Dutch and German suffix -en, meaning "to jump" or "jumping"). Jumpstyle also refers to a dance style which is performed to Jumpstyle music. Jumpstyle originated in 1997 in Belgium.
