    • In the GC, Lance Armstrong keeps the maillot jaune and remains 2:46 up of Ivan Basso. By virtue of his finish today, Evans moves to 7th in the general classification, 9:29 back of the Texan. The other jerseys remain the same as well: maillot vert for sprinters stays with Thor Hushovd, maillot á pois remains on the back of Michael Rasmussen, and Yaroslav Popovych retains the maillot blanc for best rider under the age of 25.
