Johnny was a part of the main cast for It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie, where he is seen exchanging gifts with Sal Minella. he is also seen trying to cheer Kermit up, along with some of the more prominent Muppets.
Johnny appears again is Muppets from Space, where he is again roommates with Sal. Johnny's most recent film is The Muppets' Wizard of Oz with Sal Manilla yet again. the two are seen in background roles in both films, and are not main characters.
Johnny Fiama along with Sal do not appear in the latest Muppet's movie The Muppets, for an unexplained reason, other than there was no role for the two.
