Joe Loeffler

Joe Loeffler

Joseph "Joe" Loeffler (born September 12, 1980) is a bass player/backup singer formerly of the Chicago hard rock band Chevelle. Joe joined the band in 1995 after it had been formed by his brothers Pete (singer, guitarist) and Sam (drums). He was inspired to play bass after listening to Rush Limbaugh's bass line introducing the show segment. Joe quoted "this is heavy, thats cool...after that I picked up a bass that had been laying around our parent's house for like six months, actually the guy Vitamin R (Leading Us Along) was written about left his bass he rented and didn't play it for like six months, maybe it was because of ritalin or something".

Famous quotes containing the word joe:

While we were thus engaged in the twilight, we heard faintly, from far down the stream, what sounded like two strokes of a woodchopper’s axe, echoing dully through the grim solitude.... When we told Joe of this, he exclaimed, “By George, I’ll bet that was a moose! They make a noise like that.” These sounds affected us strangely, and by their very resemblance to a familiar one, where they probably had so different an origin, enhanced the impression of solitude and wildness.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
