Honors and Awards
Petro was named 2011 recipient of the Champion of Justice Award for Public Service by the Innocence Network. In 2010, Petro received with the Ohio Government Finance Officers Association Timothy I. Murphy Excellence in Government Award. Petro was selected “Ohio Super Lawyer” by Law & Politics magazine. He received a Legacy Award from the Ohio Assoc.of Chiefs of Police in 2005 & 2006; and the March Fong Eu Achievement Award from the National Notary Association in 2005.
