Schwalbach married Kevin Smith on April 25, 1999. She became involved with Smith after interviewing him for USA Today regarding rumors that he was the true author of Good Will Hunting. Their daughter, Harley Quinn, was born June 26, 1999, and was named after the character from Batman. They live in the Hollywood Hills.
