Famous quotes containing the words light, brown and/or hair:
“Long enough I had heard of irrelevant things; now at length I was glad to make acquaintance with the light that dwells in rotten wood. Where is all your knowledge gone to? It evaporates completely, for it has no depth.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“A garden is a lovesome thing, God wot!”
—Thomas Edward Brown (18301897)
“This night has been so strange that it seemed
As if the hair stood up on my head.
From going-down of the sun I have dreamed
That women laughing, or timid or wild,
In rustle of lace or silken stuff,
Climbed up my creaking stair.”
—William Butler Yeats (18651939)
