When Alpert was arrested in 1969 with Sam Melville and two others in regards to the 1969 bombings, Alpert’s parents bailed her out, and with the advice of others, Alpert forfeited the $20,000.00 bail and went underground. The two parted ways and Dohrn gave Alpert Kathy Boudin’s address. Alpert headed back to the east coast and stopped in Boston to visit Boudin.
