Jack Weiss
Jack Stephen Weiss (born August 21, 1964) is an American politician. He is a former member of the Los Angeles City Council representing the 5th district from 2001 to 2009. He previously served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Central District of California from 1994 to 2000. He is a member of the Democratic Party.
In 2009, Weiss lost to Carmen Trutanich in a bitterly fought election for Los Angeles City Attorney.
Weiss currently heads the Los Angeles office of Kroll, a global risk consulting company.
