Some months after the Presidential Act # 5.820, on November 2006, the SBTVD Forum was created to lead and coordinate technical discussions about the standard, to create all related documentation (in conjunction with ABNT (Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas - Brazilian Association for Technical Standards in English)) and to plan further developments.
