Coaching Career
In 2003, Lupescu acquired his coaching license at the German Sport University of Cologne. By the end of his active career, he was head-coach for a short period at FCM Bacău and FC Braşov in Divizia A till 2004, and was dismissed because of poor results. He became Vice President Director of the Romanian Football Federation.
