History
"Invisible Touch" came about during a jam for the second part of "Domino," Rutherford playing a riff while Collins improvised the line "She seems to have an invisible touch". It was recorded at The Farm in Surrey during 1984, 1985 and 1986.
In the summer of 1986, "Invisible Touch" was succeeded in the number one position on the Billboard Hot 100 by the Multi-Grammy nominated "Sledgehammer", performed by Genesis' former lead singer, Peter Gabriel.
The single also reached number one on the U.S. Mainstream rock tracks chart.

“Anyone who is practically acquainted with scientific work is aware that those who refuse to go beyond fact rarely get as far as fact; and anyone who has studied the history of science knows that almost every great step therein has been made by the anticipation of Nature.”
—Thomas Henry Huxley (182595)
“It may be well to remember that the highest level of moral aspiration recorded in history was reached by a few ancient JewsMicah, Isaiah, and the restwho took no count whatever of what might not happen to them after death. It is not obvious to me why the same point should not by and by be reached by the Gentiles.”
—Thomas Henry Huxley (182595)
