I.N.D.I.a.N.S. The Band
i.N.D.I.aN.S. The Band is an Indian rock band from East Delhi, Delhi. The band was an immediate result of love to music by six teenagers. They achieved mainstream success with their consolation stand up victory in first season of the FEVER 104 Campus Rock Maniacs. The band received remuneration because of being "The Youngest Metal Rock Band in Delhi". Their following studio album, The i.N.D.I.aN.S. Revolution, continued the band's success, and was followed by extensive touring and charity work around the regions of the Delhi state of India.
They are recognized for their synchronizations of the nu metal and the rap rock genre into a radio-friendly yet densely-layered style in The i.N.D.I.aN.S. band. They soon moved away from this and explored a variety of other genres. The album topped the Fever 104 Hot List charts. They are also known for their several collaborations, most significant with the Indian fusionist Karsh Kale in their song Sakoon from The i.N.D.I.aN.S. Revolution, which is also included in the Windows Vista Sample Songs as Distance, is a part compilation by Karsh Kale.

Famous quotes containing the words indians and/or band:
“At length he would call to let us know where he was waiting for us with his canoe, when, on account of the windings of the stream, we did not know where the shore was, but he did not call often enough, forgetting that we were not Indians.... This was not because he was unaccommodating, but a proof of superior manners. Indians like to get along with the least possible communication and ado. He was really paying us a great compliment all the while, thinking that we preferred a hint to a kick.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
“What passes for identity in America is a series of myths about ones heroic ancestors. Its astounding to me, for example, that so many people really seem to believe that the country was founded by a band of heroes who wanted to be free. That happens not to be true. What happened was that some people left Europe because they couldnt stay there any longer and had to go someplace else to make it. They were hungry, they were poor, they were convicts.”
—James Baldwin (19241987)
