Future
State Road 45's concurrency with State Road 46 in Bloomington is under major construction as it is in the process of being upgraded from a 2 lane road to a 4-6 lane highway. This project is set for completion in Nov. 2012.
Also the section from Bloomington until State Road 58 will become the most direct link between State Road 37 and the new I-69 between Crane and Evansville upon the latter's completion in late 2012.
After 2014 the next section of I-69 from Crane to Bloomington will be complete and this part of State Road 45 will be a minor route running close to the new interstate.

Famous quotes containing the word future:
“Only he who can view his own past as an abortion sprung from compulsion and need can use it to full advantage in the present. For what one has lived is at best comparable to a beautiful statue which has had all its limbs knocked off in transit, and now yields nothing but the precious block out of which the image of ones future must be hewn.”
—Walter Benjamin (18921940)
“Perfect present has no existence in our consciousness. As I said years ago in Erewhon, it lives but upon the sufferance of past and future. We are like men standing on a narrow footbridge over a railway. We can watch the future hurrying like an express train towards us, and then hurrying into the past, but in the narrow strip of present we cannot see it. Strange that that which is the most essential to our consciousness should be exactly that of which we are least definitely conscious.”
—Samuel Butler (18351902)
“The danger of the past was that men became slaves. The danger of the future is that men may become robots. True enough, robots do not rebel. But given mans nature, robots cannot live and remain sane, they become Golems, they will destroy their world and themselves because they cannot stand any longer the boredom of a meaningless life.”
—Erich Fromm (19001980)
