Indian Trail Junior High School (Kansas)

Indian Trail Middle School is one of the nine middle schools schools in Olathe, Kansas. The school opened in August 1981 and serves a diverse population. It is administered by Becky Vrbas, principal, and assistant principals Margo Twaddle and Shane Kaberline. The school has approximately 400 students.

While most students choose to go to Olathe South High School along with select graduates of Frontier Trail Junior High and graduates of Chisholm Trail Middle School, they also have the option of going to other Olathe high schools, such as Olathe North High School with select graduates of Oregon Trail Middle School and Santa Fe Trail Middle School.

Their mascot is the Cougar, and their school colors are Blue and Silver. Their traditional rivals are the Chisholm Trail Wildcats and the Frontier Trail Jaguars.
