Indira Gandhi Institute of technology (IGIT) formerly Mahila Institute of Technology is the first engineering college for women in Delhi, India. It came into existence in 1998. The objective of this college was to promote technical education among the female students in the country.

The college is the first constituent college of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, the first state university of Delhi focusing on professional studies.

Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology has four branches of engineering, namely Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical and Automation Engineering and Information and Technology Engineering
