Hussein Fatal - Studio Debut

Studio Debut

In February 1996, Washington made his debut on Shakur's double album, All Eyez on Me, specifically on the songs "All Bout U", and "When We Ride". The album was certified nonuple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

In June 1996, Washington was featured on Shakur's infamous diss song "Hit 'Em Up". The song is widely considered by the American hip hop community as the greatest "diss song" ever recorded due to its explicit lyrical content and the seriousness of violent intent by Shakur and his colleagues towards their competitors. Washington performed the song's second verse, verbally making disparaging remarks towards Shakur's rivals The Notorious B.I.G., Puff Daddy, and the hip hop group Junior M.A.F.I.A.

Famous quotes containing the words studio and/or debut:

The studio people want me to do “Good-bye Charlie” for the movies, but I’m not going to do it. I don’t like the idea of playing a man in a woman’s body—you know? It just doesn’t seem feminine.
    Marilyn Monroe (1926–1962)

Had I been less resolved to work, I would perhaps had made an effort to begin immediately. But since my resolution was formal and before twenty four hours, in the empty slots of the next day where everything fit so nicely because I was not yet there, it was better not to choose a night at which I was not well-disposed for a debut to which the following days proved, alas, no more propitious.... Unfortunately, the following day was not the exterior and vast day which I had feverishly awaited.
    Marcel Proust (1871–1922)
