Huo Qubing is one of the 32 historical figures who appear as special characters in the video game Romance of the Three Kingdoms XI by Koei. Huo Qubing is a main character inside popular novel "Ballad of the Desert" by Tong Hua.
The Chinese TV drama 大汉天子2 said that Huo Qubing married at the age of about 20 to a lady named Qiu Chan and they had a daughter named Huo Qilian, who would later marry Crown Prince Liu Ju and become the Crown Princess and even bear him a son.
