Houten ( pronunciation) is a municipality in the Netherlands, in the province of Utrecht. The municipality consists of the following towns:
- Houten (pop. 44,253 on 1 January 2011)
- Schalkwijk (pop. 1,973 in 2005)
- Tull en 't Waal (pop. 660 in 2009)
- 't Goy (pop. 606 in 2002).
