Horror Host

A Horror host is a particular type of television presenter, often tasked with presenting low-grade films to television audiences. This tradition is primarily American, though there have been a few international hosts over the years.

Famous quotes containing the words horror and/or host:

He made no resistance whatever, and was stabbed in the back.... I must not dwell upon the fearful repast.... Words have no power to impress the mind with the exquisite horror of their reality.
    Edgar Allan Poe (1809–1849)

The host is rushing ‘twixt night and day,
And where is there hope or deed as fair?
    Caoilte tossing his burning hair,
And Niamh calling Away, come away.
    William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)
