Honda is recalling 172,000 vehicles because of a problem with the door latches that could cause a door to open while driving. The recall affects the redesigned 2012 CR-V crossover-utility vehicle and the new Acura ILX entry-luxury sedan.
On October 7, 2012, Honda recalled about 489,000 CR-Vs in Europe and the United States finding rain water may enter the vehicles' power window switch on the driver's door, which could cause the switch to overheat and catch fire.
