The church serves the communities of Niu Valley, Kuliʻouʻou, and Hawaiʻi Kai. It falls under the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Honolulu and the bishop of Honolulu. The St. Philip Neri Chapel on its grounds also serves as the site for the St. Sophia Ukrainian Greek Catholic Mission of the Eastern Catholic Community in Hawaii.
