The Holy Bull Stakes is an American Thoroughbred horse race held annually at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida. Run in late January, it is open to three-year-olds over a distance of one mile. The Grade III event is a prep for the Florida Derby and has a $400,000 purse.

Since its inception, the race has been contested at various distances:
- 1 mile : 2007, 2010

Famous quotes containing the words holy, bull and/or stakes:
“When and where will another come to take your holy place?
Old man mumbling in his dotage, or crying child, unborn?”
—Margaret Abigail Walker (b. 1915)
“Not glad, lifeless tycoon, nor sorry feel
For neither Bull nor Bear attends your way....”
—Allen Tate (18991979)
“This man was very clever and quick to learn anything in his line. Our tent was of a kind new to him; but when he had once seen it pitched, it was surprising how quickly he would find and prepare the pole and forked stakes to pitch it with, cutting and placing them right the first time, though I am sure that the majority of white men would have blundered several times.”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
