Death
Irabu was found dead in his home in Los Angeles on July 27, 2011, in an apparent suicide. He was reported to have hanged himself. He left behind his wife and two children. Irabu, who an autopsy showed was inebriated at the time of his death, was reportedly despondent because his wife and children were leaving him.
