Famous quotes containing the word seasons:
“There is no single face in nature, because every eye that looks upon it, sees it from its own angle. So every mans spice-box seasons his own food.”
—Zora Neale Hurston (1891–1960)
“Therefore all seasons shall be sweet to thee,
Whether the summer clothe the general earth
With greenness, or the redbreast sit and sing
Betwixt the tufts of snow on the bare branch
Of mossy apple-tree,”
—Samuel Taylor Coleridge (1772–1834)
“While I enjoy the friendship of the seasons I trust that nothing can make life a burden to me.”
—Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
