Henry Massey Rector - Biography

Biography

Rector was born at Fontaine’s Ferry near Louisville, Kentucky. Both his parents were of English descent. Rector was educated by his mother and attended one year of school in Louisville. He moved to Arkansas in 1835. Rector served as U.S. Marshal after moving to Arkansas.
