The Circuit
Hamilton Street Circuit is 3.4 km long runs in a clockwise direction around the Frankton business district with the pit lane and main straight located on Mill Street. The circuit also goes alongside the Seddon Park and the Waikato Stadium. It is generally a narrow race track with armco and concrete lined sides but it can be fast and flowing. There are plenty of passing opportunities and those who quickly dial into the contained style of street racing have the most success. The circuit is not very forgiving if the driver get off the racing line because it is surrounded by the aforementioned fences and concrete barriers.

Famous quotes containing the word circuit:
“We are all hostages, and we are all terrorists. This circuit has replaced that other one of masters and slaves, the dominating and the dominated, the exploiters and the exploited.... It is worse than the one it replaces, but at least it liberates us from liberal nostalgia and the ruses of history.”
—Jean Baudrillard (b. 1929)
“Within the circuit of this plodding life
There enter moments of an azure hue,
Untarnished fair as is the violet
Or anemone, when the spring strews them
By some meandering rivulet, which make
The best philosophy untrue that aims
But to console man for his grievances.
I have remembered when the winter came,”
—Henry David Thoreau (18171862)
